  • Overview

    The On-Site Manager’s role is to support all of the client’s temporary staffing needs. The On-Site Manager is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring and proper placement of our candidates,  and for receiving and entering client requests, following up on order status, filling the positions, handling employee/client issues (with Director of Operations’ direction), employee safety training, and other related duties.

    1. Develop new and creative ways to obtain additional business from the existing client.
    2. Make calls on departments within the customer that do not use Helpmates yet, but meet Helpmates criteria.
    3. Keep aware of all new business moving into the customer and analyze as quickly as possible for additional temporary business needs.
    4. Properly orient all qualified applicants so as to maintain rapport with the employees and to insure quality services to the client.
    5. Properly supervise the activities of the temporary employees to retain those who perform and be able to take corrective or dismissive measures with those who do not perform.
    6. Maintain current and inactive files of applicants and employees.
    7. Keep the Director of Operations informed of the pertinent facts and needs of the client, such as the types of temporary workers that are suitable, and any follow up necessary on the Director of Operations’ part.
    8. Share with the Company all creative selling methods being employed by any other temporary help services.
    9. To strive to increase the rapport between Helpmates and the client.
    10. To be in daily contact with the Director of Operations so that each will be aware of the others’ activities and exchange information so that a team effort is involved in both selling and servicing the client.

    Qualifications

     Job Requirements 

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
    • 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred. 
    • Drive to build and maintain new relationships and sales accounts.
    • Calm, poised and professional phone etiquette with great follow-up protocols and habits.
    • Able and willing to make a high volume of outbound sales & prospecting calls on a daily basis (Do not apply if this isn’t your thing).
    • Microsoft Office experience
    • Tireless but--at the same time--smart phone, email and communication habits.
    • Keen attention to the details but also being able to do the 360-degree birds-eye from time-to-time.
    • Unafraid to fail and try new things but too smart to try to fix what's not broken.
    • Above all else...a growth-oriented mindset.
